Part 2 of INFINITE L‘s photo essay ‘L’s Bravo Viewtiful Part 1‘ has landed at #1 on the domestic bestseller list!

 

As soon as pre-orders opened up for the book earlier this month on the 4th, it immediately rose to the top of various online sites. On the 25th, it officially hit #1 bestseller for arts and popular culture on sites like Yes24InterparkBandinlunis, and more, beating out popular novels like Jo Jung Rae‘s ‘Jungle Manri‘. 

For the photo essay, L revealed his day-to-day moments as an average young man in his twenties rather than documenting his life as an idol star. His personally taken photos, drawings, and writings seem to have made an impression on readers.

 

L commented, “I hope that readers see the photos I took day to day and each page of this book and feel the happiness as well as sincerity I felt. I hope they’re able to get some comfort in their daily lives through it.”

[NEWS] INFINITE reveals MV teaser for ‘Request’

To help endorse their new Galaxy series including the Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch, Samsung has recruited three artists to make “Galaxy Songs”. These artists include INFINITECNBLUE, and ICONA POP.

Earlier today, an MV teaser for INFINITE’s “Galaxy Song” which is titled “Request” was revealed on Woollim‘s official YouTube channel. In the teaser, the boys prominently display Samsung Galaxy products. The full MV for “Request” will be revealed on September 27.

[NEWS] INFINITE wear hanboks to celebrate Chuseok during their world tour

Although the boys of INFINITE are spending their Chuseok abroad with fans on their first world tour ‘One Great Step‘, they proved that their hearts are still in Korea. In celebration of the holiday, they each donned colorful hanboks while they performed in Japan.

 

INFINITE had an original idea to enter the stage atop what looks like a blue van and dressed in traditional Korean hanboks from head to toe. Thus, they hoped to do their Chuseok greetings, while simultaneously showing the Korean culture to their Japanese audience.

 

In addition, the boys carried baskets filled with presents, such as handwritten letters, paper airplanes, and more, which they threw at their fans.

 

The boys said in fluent Japanese: “It is Chuseok today in Korea. Chuseok is a national holiday. It is even one of the most important holidays along with Lunar New Year. On Chuseok, people wear hanboks to greet guests. We wore hanboks to greet all of you.

[NEWS] A Pink and INFINITE win 400m relay for this year’s ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships

The female idol groups battled it out for the 400m relay in this year’s ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship.’ miss ARainbowA PinkDal ShabetNine Muses, and Hello Venus battled it out for the gold, but A Pink in the end proved the fastest group in this race!

A Pink and Dal Shabet were neck and neck as they raced towards the finish line, but A Pink won the gold by a few milliseconds! This just proved that despite their generally sweet and girly appearance, the members of A Pink are some tough and athletic ladies. Dal Shabet won the silver while Rainbow came in third for the bronze.

The male idol groups also raced against one another for the 400m relay. Near the very end, Hoya gained incredible speed, beating TEEN TOP and winning the gold for INFINITEB.A.P came after the two groups to win the bronze medal.

On September 20, MBC aired the second and last half of the Chuseok special ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships.’

 

MBC revealed that Rainbow won the women’s archery event and Team A won the overall championship with a total of 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals!

 

Seulong said, “I want to thank our team for fighting so hard. If we are a team again for next Chuseok, I would like to try for first place once more.

 

This episode also revealed that this year’s overall MVP of the event was none other than INFINITE‘s Hoya! This comes as no surprise, especially as he shows his athleticism in the 400m by completely outrunning TEEN TOP‘s Changjo in the very last few seconds.

[NEWS] INFINITE ‘L’s Bravo Viewtiful Part 2’ does it again by ranking high on pre-order charts in Japan

INFINITE L‘s photo essay book ‘L’s Bravo Viewtiful Part 2‘ not only topped pre-order charts in Korea but in Japan as well.

 

 

The first part, which was released previously, ranked #1 on various charts, so it probably comes as no surprise to fans that part 2 is well on its way to achieving the same amount of success.

 

According to his agency, ‘L’s Bravo Viewtiful Part 2‘, which became available for pre-orders on the 4th, rose to the #1 spot on the HMV weekly pre-order chart after a week on the 11th. The book also ranked within the top 5 of pre-order charts in online bookstores.

 

L’s Bravo Viewtiful Part 2‘ will be released in Korea on the 25th and the 27th in Japan, so make sure you join that pre-order list yourself!

[NEWS] INFINITE greet their fans for Chuseok

Woollim‘s official YouTube channel was updated with a video of INFINITE wishing all their fans a happy Chuseok.

The boys wish their fans to be very healthy and happy as they dance and prance around. In the middle of the video, Woohyun starts doing the Hangawi (Another name for Chuseok) Heart. He tries to get his fellow members to do it as well.

[NEWS] Heechul gets close with Sulli + declares himself to be INFINITE’s fanboy

Super Junior‘s Heechul has been extremely active on his Instagram lately, perhaps as to make up for all the lost times during his military service, and today was no different. Through his most recent posts on his spree, he excited fans of not only f(x) but INFINITE as well.

 

In the first post, he continued to showcase his friendship with Sulli as they got cozy during their sticker photo booth session. Writing, “Sulli who always smiles even when she’s lonely or sad. I asked her if it’s hard to always smile but she still smiles. Her and Tiffa Tiffa Tiffany form the best two happy virus^-^ I am just a virus bbeing bbeing ㅇㅅㅇ But why do I keep getting cut off in photos on Instagram,” he sparked the envy of fans who couldn’t decide which idol was luckier to hang out with the other. 

 

He then had supporters of Super Junior and INFINITE giddy with his second post that included a video of him going for a drive with “Be Mine” playing in the background. He wasn’t afraid to declare himself a fanboy as he said, “Kim Heenim(20) who is a fanboy of ‘Be Mine‘. Sunggyu… every time you would greet me with a 90 degree bow, I wanted to hop on your back..”leaving fans to chuckle at his randomness.

[NEWS] INFINITE’s Woohyun joins Instagram

Are you keeping track? Because INFINITE‘s Woohyun is the next celebrity to join Instagram!

Woohyun made his first post on Instagram and wrote, “How do you do this keke It’s difficult keke”, and already started to learn the ropes by posting a photo and video.

 

The video features Woohyun, Dongwoo, and Sungjong, confirming that his account is real.

[NEWS] INFINITE’s Sunggyu generously gives fans money for cab fare

INFINITE‘s Sunggyu is being showered with praise for his recent show of generosity.

 

After the ‘2013 Pepsi Concert‘ on the 8th, Sunggyu saw that fans have been waiting for him late into the night.  He asked them to go home early, but they did not want to leave.  One jokingly asked for cab fare and to everyone’s surprise, Sunggyu actually started to hand out money to all his fans as shown in the picture on the left.  They reluctantly accepted the money, but whether they spent it or kept it as a souvenir to cherish is a whole other question.  

One netizen said: “I don’t think I’d be able to use that money if I were them.
